  COINS Framing R9

Coins Framing R9 is now available for AutoCAD Architecture 2009 and AutoCAD MEP 2009.

This new release has been written to take full advantage of the new features found in the 2009 range including:

  • 64-bit  - Framing R9 has a native 64-bit version to work with AutoCAD Architecture on both Vista and XP 64-bit.
  • User Interface - an enhanced Display Tab, and the introduction of Solution Tips to provide specific information about the cause of an issue and suggestions for resolving it.
  • Wall Cleanups - improved wall cleanup of walls across xrefs and at varying elevations, together with the ability to quickly change a wall's justification, and direction during layout.

As well as the specific features mentioned above, Coins Framing users running AutoCAD Architecture 2009 will be able to take advantage of all new features and those underlying AutoCAD 2009 release.

Coins Framing R9 is also available for ADT 2008, and 2007. This release includes the following new features available across all the aforementioned Autodesk products:

  • Automatically break top and bottom plates in a wall to maximum lengths. This feature makes it easier for stick-build house builders to get the right quantities without breaking walls into panels. Combine this with the Virtual Lumberyard optimizer and see the cost benefits immediately.
  • Multi-page COINS schedules - if your schedules are too long you can easily break them into multiple pages by simply dragging a grip.
  • Manufacturing improvements including the ability to display individual members with different colors to plot differently, and enhancements to clashing part references.
  • New junction conditions to stay on top of current building trends.
